To my surprise I was informed that there is a Muscarella Marinade out in cyberspace. Considering that this recipe is one from my own family, I will post this for everyone right here, where it belongs.
- 2 Cloves Minced Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon Brown Mustard
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1/8 Cup Vinegar
- 1/8 Cup Olive Oil
- 1/8 Cup Water
- 1 Teaspoon Fresh Basil
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- Dash Kosher Salt
Mix all ingredients well and place poultry or meat in marinade. Marinate for a minimum of 2 hours, preferably overnight, turning meat or poultry pieces occasionally. Grill or bake as desired. Increase recipe ingredients according to quantity that is being marinated.
The official name of the marinade is “The Muscarella Whoop Ass Marinade.” Please correct this oversight.
