Here is another great summer bar-b-que side dish from Mrs. D. Thank you so much and keep the delicious recipes coming. 


  • 16 oz. of Rotini Pasta
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper 
  • 15 cherry tomatoes sliced in half
  • small red onion, diced
  • small red pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup halved kalamita olives
  • 1 cup crumbled feta
  • 5 basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar

Bring 4 quarts of salted water to a rolling boil, add rotini and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Once pasta is cooked remove from boiling water, rinse with cold water to cool down to stop the cooking process. Add halved cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, diced red pepper, halved pitted kalamita olives. In a separate bowl whisk garlic salt, pepper, olive oil, and red wine vinegar. Pour liquid on to salad and toss well. Top with crumbled feta and chopped fresh basil. Chill for at least one hour.
