Another Italian pasta sauce for you to enjoy. Again we know this is not a steak recipe, but it is a meat sauce. We hope you enjoy. Thanks to Christopher Bartolomucci for this delicious Italian meal.
Ingredients:
4 oz ground beef
4 oz 4
2 carrots
2 celery stalks
1 red onion
2 garlic cloves
10 Italian parsley leaves
4 TBS extra virgin olive oil
4 TSP butter
1 cup red wine
1/2 cup chicken broth
4 TBS tomato paste
1 box of penne rigateÂ

Okay, okay, I know that this has nothing to do with STEAKNIGHT, but there is more than one day in a week. We are going to prove that STEAKNIGHT is not just a one trick pony. This is a recipe for a basic but delicious tomato gravy. I grew up on this stuff and through the years perfected my very own. The key to this recipe is less is more. So throw away the Ragu and do it the right way!
Ingredients:

We just had to pass along another fantastic Bobby Flay creation. Black Pepper Crusted Filet Mignon with Toasted Goat Cheese and Twice Cooked Red Chile Sauce. This took a little time to prepare but the final outcome was fabulous. Something about Goat Cheese and a tender Filet Mignon that just works. Thanks Bobby !

This amazing combination of spices and flavors was introduced to me by one of my fellow STEAKNIGHT attendees Javier. The recipe comes from Argentina, and is quite amazing on flank steak, but can be used on a number of different meats. I have used this on pork, chicken, steaks (of course), and even on vegetables. If spicy dosen't work for you mellow it out by removing some or all of the hot pepper. Still tastes great!
