Old School Italian All Day Tomato Sauce

Okay, okay, I know that this has nothing to do with STEAKNIGHT, but there is more than one day in a week. We are going to prove that STEAKNIGHT is not just a one trick pony. This is a recipe for a basic but delicious tomato gravy. I grew up on this stuff and through the years perfected my very own. The key to this recipe is less is more. Thursday is STEAKNIGHT!

I am waiting patiently for the end of the day. Thursday is STEAKNIGHT and I am getting my bounty ready for tomorrows feast. The steaks this week are Prime Dry Aged Bone in Rib Eyes. Bought them at my local Foodtown Supermarket, they happen to have a real nice meat department, and they sell Prime Aged steaks there.  This week our steaks are going to be marinade free.
