This is a thin steak from the middle of the top round roast, from the round section. Usually there is a large circular bone on one end of this steak. (like you see in cartoons) When left whole this is called a round eye roast. The Round Eye is a steak and potatoes type of meat. It can also be grilled or broiled, just be sure to marinate this cut. Â
